British Campaign Medals

The category of British Campaign medals consists of a range of medals dating from the early campaigns in the Peninsular War from 1808 to 1814, Waterloo 1815, India General Service Medal 1854, Crimean War 1854 – 1856, Indian Mutiny 1857 – 1859, Afghanistan Medal 1878 – 1880, Egypt Medal 1882 – 1889, Indian General Service 1895 – 1898, and Queen’s South Africa 1899 – 1902.

All the medals have been awarded to line or cavalry regiments and one to the Royal Artillery.
