14th Century Bronze Dagger Chape
This 14th century bronze dagger chape is of an “arrow-shaped” style with an open work design and leaf-shaped finial. The chape is hollow at the back with a rich brown patina and it is quite intricate in design for its type.
The chape is in very good condition and measures 5.2 cm in length and 1.6 cm in width.
