14th Century Heraldic Horse Pendant Depicting a Rearing Unicorn

This 14th century shield-shaped pendant depicts a central design of a red enamelled unicorn rearing on a blue enamelled background. The representation of the unicorn is very clear and approximately 50% of the original enamel remains.

The pendant still retains a complete hanging loop and is in very good overall condition. It measures 40 mm in length including the loop and 26 mm in width.
