Early 15th Century English Iron Crossbow Bolt SOLD
This early 15th century diamond shaped socketed crossbow bolt is fairly small measuring 6 cm in length and 1 cm in width. The crossbow bolt was discovered in the 1960s near the site of the Battle of Shrewsbury, which was fought in 1408 between Henry IV and the Earl of Northumberland.
The crossbow bolt is in very good, stable condition and has been professionally conserved.
