Description

1st/2nd Century Auxiliary Cavalry Bronze Mount

The bronze mount hangs from a ring, which is attached to two loops. It has a delicately incised saltire cross depicted on the front, with a small boss in the centre. The entire piece measures 45 mm from the top of the ring to the base of the mount and it is 25 mm wide.
