2nd/3rd Century A.D. Roman Sandal Brooch    SOLD

Condition – Very good.

This 2nd/3rd-century Roman brooch is styled in the shape of a Roman sandal’s sole. The brooch has three yellow circular enamel pieces placed in a blue enamel background. About 75% of the enameling remains and the reverse retains its fixings and part of the actual pin.

This sandal brooch is a quality item and measures 40 mm in length and 10 mm in width.
