WWI Real Photograph Postcard of a German Officer in Service Uniform

The German officer portrayed in this photograph wears a Pickelhaube with a cloth cover (Uberzug) and a dress bayonet. On his tunic, he displays the Iron Cross 1st Class and the ribbon for the Iron Cross 2nd Class.

There is a small 10 mm tear on the left side, but this does not affect the image.
