WWI Silk British and French Flags with Lucky Shamrock “To My Dear Father”

This WWI silk embroidered postcard has a pocket and flap, which holds a little greetings card illustrated with shield-shaped flag emblems of the allies. The silk flap is embroidered with the British and French flags on either side of a lucky four-leaf clover or shamrock. The embroidery on the pocket shows the greeting “To My Dear Father”.

The postcard is mounted in a card frame and annotated on the reverse.
